29/11/24
We have had a super busy week with lots of writing, many children attending Show Time and exploring aviation in WW1.
English
We have come to the end of our narrative unit and the children have worked really hard on developing characters, setting and building tension. They have listened carefully to the strategies and techniques and have given it a really good go! This is a long piece of writing that has been building over the past few weeks and we are very impressed with the children’s efforts.
History
This week the children explored the development of aviation during WW1 and how quickly technology advanced during this time period. We looked at planes before WW1, which were made of wood and cloth and how they developed into planes that could carry guns and resources for the soldiers.
