Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim families this week!
It has been a quieter few days by Farfield standards as we have had so many Muslim children off school celebrating Eid.
On Monday, a class of Y2 children visited a mosque in the morning and then many of them were then part of the Pudsey Olympics at the John Charles Centre in the afternoon alongside older children from KS2. Today, a class of children from Y4 have spent the day in The Yorkshire Dales visiting Burnsall: a contrasting rural village to compare with Farsley and Leeds from a geographical perspective.
This weekend we have our PTA Camp Over: our biggest yet in terms of advanced ticket sales! This is a mammoth effort by our superb PTA and should be another fabulous event with over 700 people on site and over 70 families camping. The weather looks like it will be (mainly) dry but we won’t need to worry about sunburn this year.
And still no Ofsted inspection…
