22/11/24
We have had a very busy week in Y6 and the children have produced some fabulous pieces of work! Well done everyone!
History
This week the children have been exploring life in the trenches and have created some creative and informative double-page spreads to showcase their learning. They have looked at animals in the trenches, periscopes and much more!
English
This week we have been focusing on a more detailed piece of writing and showing the passage of time. The children have worked hard on their language choices to build mood and imagery for the reader. They have also worked really hard on editing and improving their writing as this is an important skill for Y6. We can’t wait to publish these once we are finished.
Trip
We are planning a trip to the Gurdwara on Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th December. Your child should have brought home a letter about this today. Please see links below.
Homework

- Maths – Multiply and divide by 10,100 and 1000 pg 17 & 18

We hope that you have a lovely weekend!
