Nursery – 23.01.25
It has been a slightly shorter week, but it has been packed with lots of amazing learning.
Maths
This week the children have been looking at the formation of ‘1’ and representing it by drawing 1 object.
Phonics
As we already had sticks in our provision, we used them as hard objects to beat, scrape, tap, and stroke various objects around the classroom. We listened to hear the different sounds these actions made and told each other about them.
Building houses out of sticks
The sticks were a little more successful compared to the straw. They were also less messy!
Visiting the pigs
We enjoyed visiting the pigs this week. Can you believe there are three of them just like in our class story?
