We had a lovely day today at Skelton Grange. This morning the children explored different habitats in search of minibeasts. In the ponds we were amazed to find tadpoles, water boatmen, pond skaters, water snails, dragonfly nymphs newts and baby newts (efts). As part of our minibeast topic, we are learning all about bees. We are extremely lucky to have our own apiary in our school grounds and our very own beekeepers.
