COVID update

Whilst we were setting up for the new year, one of our TAs has tested positive for COVID. Whilst they haven’t yet been contacted by Test and Trace, we have taken the pro-active decision for the staff that were in any contact with the staff member to stay at home until we can take further advice. This only affects Y3 and the families have been contacted.   Year 3 remains open, but with new staffing for Monday: Mr Garlick and Mrs Wilson who are very familiar Farfield adults.  Mr Beevers and Miss Ellis will, no doubt, be making a virtual appearance in class!

Further update:  After advice from PHE, five of the six colleagues that I asked to pre-emptively self-isolate have been allowed to return to school. Our deputy head will remain in self-isolation until next week.
