Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!
Year 3 have worked incredibly hard this week on their alternative versions of Jack and the Beanstalk. We have been so impressed with the effort the children have put in and with the fantastic writing everyone has produced. It has been really lovely to see the children enjoying writing, with some children keen to stay in at playtimes to finish! All the finished stories are unique and have been a joy to read. Here are a few examples for you to enjoy…
This year, Year 3 have been paired up with Nursery to take part in a series of reading buddy sessions. 3B had their first session this week. They enjoyed getting to know their Nursery buddy and sharing a story with them. 3SB will be visiting Nursery on Monday.
In computing, the children are practising their touch typing, working hard to use the correct fingers for each key.
In OAA, 3B developed team-working skills through a series of games and challenges. In dance, the children are learning a sequence of movements to perform to music.
Next week, we will be learning about mummification in history. If you have any left-over glass jars (quite large ones, for example pasta sauce jars with lids) please could you send them in next week!
Have a lovely weekend!
