Happy Half Term!
We have finished our stories and published them this week. The children are rightly proud of the work they’ve done.

‘The only thing constant is change’
This week we looked further at adaptation of animals and how they are able to live in the environments we find them in. Did you know that the camel has three rows of eyelashes to keep out the sand? Or that the polar bear has little bumps under its paws called papillae which allow it to grip onto the slippery ice?
Have a look here at the research we conducted and find out more about amazing adaptations.
Homework
Grammar paper – please check your grammar paper which you completed last week and brought home. Here is a link to a paper with games which will help you correct the questions you got wrong. Give them another try!
If you have scored highly on your paper, complete the grammar game on spelling shed.
Arithmetic – complete the paper you brought home with you. Do not spend longer than 40 minutes on this.
Mathletics – try to gain 1000 points next week
