Headteacher blog 22nd March 2024
It has been a challenging week with a difficult situation in the infants with a third Hepatitis A infection confirmed: the first from outside the initial family. Risks to children are still regarded as relatively mild, but the cluster of cases is being treated very seriously and there are plans to provide vaccinations to infant children (and staff) next week and after Easter.
More positively, we have had school trips to Tropical World this week and another successful Show Time trip for 60 Y5 and Y6 children to see The Wizard of Oz at the Bradford Alhambra. As usual, our children made a good impression: “Lovely comments from some ladies at the theatre last night. They said the children were amazingly well behaved and that they were lovely.”
