Headteacher’s blog 27th October
This has been a tricky end to what has been a very long half-term. We have had to have our infant school car park dug up to work on the school’s three-phase electrical supply and we have had to contend with two days of kitchen closure and a further long power cut on Thursday morning. I’d like to thank everyone for their patience and thank Claire, Trish and the kitchen team for their great work feeding us in difficult circumstances this week. Huge thanks, too, to Mr Pawson for his time and expertise, helping us to identify the problem earlier in the week.
It has been a soggy end to what has been a busy and very positive half-term. Colleagues are having a night out this evening to celebrate the half term and, in particular, our successful Ofsted inspection. I hope that everyone has a great time tonight and a very well-deserved break next week. Don’t forget that Monday 6th November is a training day during which colleagues will be doing first aid training or minibus driving qualification refresher sessions.
