Love is in the Air

The last few weeks seem to have flown by and the cold weather of January has been replaced by… the cold weather of February. Surely, spring cannot be far away.

English

The final week of the half term has seen the classes perform scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The script have been written and then directed by the childen. We have been extremely impressed by the way that the individual groups have organised themselves. Not much time was given to learning lines and so scripts were used during the performances as prompts. The videos can be seen below.

PE

As it is final week of PE, the dance group performed their final routine. They have spent six weeks working hard to master and co-ordinate moves to match the music.

Reading

A very special mention to 5B who finish the half term with the highest weekly average percentage, of 92%, for Extreme Reading in the school. Thank you to parents in both classes for your support.

The children have all worked hard this half term and have earned a well deserved break. We hope you all enjoy the holiday and return refreshed in a week’s time.
