Former pupil hits gymnastic gold

Former pupil Nile Wilson goes from strength to strength in gymnastics as he achieved a record haul of 5 gold medals at the European Junior Championships. Nile is a fine young man and we are very proud of him. His dedication and hard work is an inspiration to the school. Well done Nile!

We had a great time at Gearstones Lodge at Ribblehead. We went on a waterfall walk, night walk, mountain biking, caving and a river study. We self-catered and travelled by train and school minibus. After twenty years as a lunchtime assistant, we bade farewell to Sylvia Smart in assembly today as she begins her belated retirement.
