Nursery – 25.04.25

It has been a short week, so we have had less formal input, especially for the children who are not full-time. Most of the learning will carry forward to next week.

Peace at Last

This term, our book is Peace at Last. We have read the story once and will continue looking at it over the next few weeks.

Phonics

We have started to look at alliteration. We played games and spent time discussing our names and the letter sounds they begin with.

Maths

This week, we have started to look at the number 5. We read the Number Puppy 5 book, which includes the colour blue and looks at things in the shape of a pentagon.

Everything else

Although it has been a short week, we have still been busy with our friends. We found some tadpoles and looked at the life cycle of a frog, made cloud fluff, pulled each other down the hill in boxes, enjoyed the new sand area, and had a go at painting some blossom.
