Reading Buddies

It was lovely having the Year 3 children visit us this week. Nursery has teamed up with Year 3 to share and enjoy books together. We will be meeting every term.

Visiting the chickens and our wonderful grounds

This week we went to visit the chickens. Some children were very brave and even fed them.

Diwali

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights. We watched some videos and shared some stories to learn more about this celebration. Some children chose to decorate a card.

Materials

This week we have looked at and used different types of materials. We have discussed the textures and used our imaginations to become different characters. It’s amazing what a piece of material can spark.
