This week in Nursery
A very wet end to the week! We have been learning the moves for this Write Dance activity and it couldn’t have been more appropriate this week!
Child Led Learning
Pirates
One of the children was drawing a treasure map this week so we set up a pirate role play area. The children could dress up, walk the plank, steer the pirate ship and make treasure maps. We also had an adult-led pirate bingo game. Here are a few photos of what the children got up to…
Dream Catchers
Another child-led activity was to make dream catchers. The children selected coloured craft resources to stick to a paper plate and then attached a ribbon to hang it up with. We will send them home next week when they won’t get wet!
Other things inside this week…
And outside…
Library books
Please don’t forget that we change library books every Wednesday. The children are able to select their own books and sometimes choose the one they have just returned if they have enjoyed sharing it at home.
Have a lovely weekend from the Nursery team
