Year 6 – 28.3.24
Happy Holidays
The children have worked so very hard this term and we are proud of their tenacity and effort. We have spent the last week doing some assessments which will help structure our revision when we come back after the holidays in order to prepare us for our SATs in May.
As a reminder, dates are below:
Holiday Homework
Your child will bring home some Easter homework today to complete over the holidays. We recommend little and often so that there isn’t any last minute cramming (which isn’t effective) and it will be much easier to get things done if your child does 20-30 minutes every day.
Tasks:
- Maths booklet x 2
- Reading booklet
- Grammar booklet
- 1000 points each week in mathletics
- Spelling shed games each week x 5.
Have a restful and happy holidays. We wish you a Happy Easter and Ramadan Mubarak for those of you who are celebrating.
